It is important that any participant taking part in Pilates classes either in person, online or pre-recorded, reads and understands the following Disclaimer and terms relating to their practice.

 

You should only participate in classes once you have read and agree to these terms.

Health & Safety

Every effort will be taken to ensure participants safety however taking part is at their own risk. You will be asked to complete a fitness to exercise questionnaire during your first session, where any specific health issues should be disclosed. Before starting a new exercise programme, it is advisable for participants to seek advice from a medical practitioner, particularly if they have existing health problems.  It is the participants responsibility to declare all pre-existing medical conditions, injuries and current medication. Participants will be directed for further investigation if it is felt this is required before exercising.

Assumption of Risk

When participating in any exercise programme, there is the possibility of physical injury. By engaging in this exercise programme, participants assume full responsibility for any risk of injury of health issues that may arise.

Personal Responsibility

Participants are expected to follow the instruction provided by the instructor and modify exercises as needed, in line with the options given. It is important for participants to realize that they can stop when they wish because of feelings of fatigue or any other discomfort. Please ensure you share any new issues that impact your ability to exercise, prior to each session.

Proper Environment

If participants are engaging in online or pre-recorded classes, they are expected to use a safe environment free from hazards that could cause injury, wear appropriate attire and use appropriate equipment.

Payment

Payment should be made prior to attending sessions and no refunds will be given once purchase is completed.

Cancellation policy

Individual 1:1 sessions can be rescheduled if more than 24 hours in advance of the session. Cancellations with less notice than 24 hours will be charged. If participants need to amend their scheduled time, every effort will be made to accommodate this.

Pre-purchased packs of 1:1 sessions must be used within the time frame specified.

Participants enrolled on a block of matwork classes (usually 5 weeks) have their place allocated to them for that time period. If a session is missed, a pre-recorded class will be sent to the participant to enjoy in their own time and continue their practice in line with the rest of the group.

Participants engaging in online classes will receive the video link ahead of the class. If they are unable to attend, a recording of the class will be sent to the participant to enjoy in their own time.
